BOOKING TYPES
Our boats are in the water all year round in Ibiza so that you can enjoy your boat club membership 365 days a year. Our booking system allows you to secure days in advance, in addition to last minute reservations. With this system, you can have unlimited days to use your membership
OWNER BOAT BOOKINGS IBIZA
These are your guaranteed rolling boat reservations that can be booked up to 3 months in advance. A rolling booking means to book another owner booking for a boat day in Ibiza, the boat club member most use the previous one. The number of rolling bookings that can be used at the same time depend on the Helmsmen Boat Club membership. Helmsmen Boat Club Ibiza members have between 1 to 4 boat reservations per month they can make at the same time, depending on the membership plan.
SPONTANEOUS BOAT BOOKINGS IBIZA
A Helmsmen Boat Club Ibiza member can choose to be notified when a boat is being checked out by a previous boat club member before the end of day, and then becomes available. The first person, who books the boat for the resuming time can got out again until the boat needs to be returned. The number of spontaneous boat day bookings that can be made throughout the year and is unlimited in Ibiza.
LAST-MINUTE BOAT BOOKINGS IBIZA
A last-minute booking is when a booking is being made between 1 and 24 hours prior to departure, if a boat is available.
HBC offers unlimited boating to all members.
All our boats are in the water 365 days per year so whenever you are ready to go, so are our boats! Within every membership, there is a minimum number of Regular bookings per month that we guarantee. Besides these guaranteed Regular days we offer members the opportunity to
use 2 days per month of Spontaneous and Last-Minute
bookings.
Boat Rental Reservations - Ibiza
These are your confirmed rolling boat reservations, available for booking up to 3 months in advance. A rolling reservation lets you secure another boat day by using a prior booking. The number of rolling reservations you can hold simultaneously depends on your membership level, with options ranging from 1 to 4 active reservations per month, depending on your plan.
Last-Minute Boat Rentals in Ibiza
A club member can opt to be notified when a boat that was previously checked out by another member becomes available before the end of the day. The first person to book the boat for the available time slot can use it until it needs to be returned. The number of spontaneous boat bookings that can be made throughout the year is unlimited.
Last-Minute Boat Bookings [Location]
A last-minute booking refers to a reservation made within 1 to 24 hours before the scheduled departure, subject to availability.
Additional Charges
Fuel
Fuel is measured using a device that calculates the cost of fuel based on distance and speed. The device is connected directly to the app, allowing users to track their fuel consumption and associated costs.
Onboarding
During the skill assessment, which is part of the onboarding process, it is determined by the organization whether the individual requires additional training in [Location].
Boat License Ibiza
If you or a family member don't yet have a boat license, you can enroll in one of our accredited boat license courses. We are a global sailing school offering certifications in partnership with a leading sailing association.
Boat Deposit & Insurance Policy
We provide two insurance/deposit policy options to cover any potential damage that may occur:
Boat Deposit & Insurance Policy - Option 1
A [Club Name] member pays a security deposit of [€1500] ([Boat Length Range A]) / [€2000] ([Boat Length Range B]). With this option, a member will be fully liable for any damage or loss up to a maximum amount of [€5000] ([Boat Length Range A]) / [€10000] ([Boat Length Range B]).
Boat Deposit & Insurance Policy - Option 2
Alternatively, instead of paying a deposit, the member can opt for the annual coverage plan at €[amount] for [size] per year, which is non-refundable. However, the member will only be liable for up to €[amount] based on the boat size.

You can add a joint skipper to your membership, allowing another individual (such as a family member or partner) to operate a boat under your membership even when you're not present.
The cost for adding a joint skipper varies by membership plan:
